Brussels: Europe and the Arabs
Jens Stoltenberg, Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), is taking part in one of the meetings of the European Union's defense ministers, which kicked off this morning in Brussels.
According to the European Union institutions, the meeting chaired by European Foreign and Security Policy Coordinator Josep Borrell, the main item of discussion will be the European Union's support for Ukraine.
In light of current affairs, the Defense Ministers will touch on EU missions and operations including CSDP/CFSP activities in Africa, the EU Rapid Deployment Capability, and PESCO, a European statement said.
During a working lunch, the ministers will have an informal exchange with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
The meeting will be preceded by the European Defense Agency's Steering Board, starting at 9.00.
