For his part, Ambassador Abdel-Aty reviewed the pivotal role that Egypt plays in supporting security and stability in the region, especially in the areas of combating terrorism and illegal immigration and related illegal trafficking operations, and stressed the importance of building on the momentum witnessed by bilateral cooperation at the present time.
