The statement added that the talks focused on ways to add a new dynamism to the relations of cooperation and friendship between the two countries, in addition to the international and regional issues that lie at the core of their foreign policy concerns.
In his speech before the Hungarian press, the Algerian Foreign Minister explained that with regard to the results of the consultations that he held with his Hungarian counterpart, agreement was reached on a set of practical steps that would intensify communication at various official levels and among businessmen, as well as revitalizing various bilateral cooperation mechanisms. And work to increase the value of trade exchanges and bilateral investments.
  The Algerian minister stated that there are many projects between the two countries, some of which are in the process of being completed and some of which are under study, in important areas such as traditional energies, renewable energies, training, security cooperation, agriculture, fishing, and air transport.
  In the same context, the Hungarian minister confirmed that his country wants to import Algerian gas, as part of its strategy aimed at diversifying its sources of supplies.
  On the other hand, Minister Ahmed Attaf stressed the importance of the visit that Hungarian President Katalin Novak will make to Algeria in the future, at the invitation of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and stressed the necessity of optimal preparation for this important visit in order to reach qualitative outcomes and results that inaugurate a new era in the history of the country.   At the level of regional and international situations of common interest, Attaf added that the talks were an opportunity to exchange visions and analyzes on many issues, especially the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, the situation in the African coast, and the crisis in Niger.
