Brussels: Europe and the Arabs
Many civilians have been killed in Gaza, as pointed out by the French, German and UK foreign ministers, European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said in his previous post on Twitter. “Certainly, we are witnessing a shocking lack of discrimination in Israel’s military operation in Gaza.
The Holy Family Church and the Charity Monastery, shelters for displaced people, were also attacked.
Worshipers, three Israeli hostages and hundreds of other civilians died during the latest military operations. This must stop - a humanitarian pause is urgently needed.
On the other hand, Palestinian factions announced that they bombed the Israeli site of Kissufim with a missile salvo, according to urgent news from the Cairo News Channel.
The Israeli occupation has continued its aggression against the Gaza Strip, by air, land and sea, for 73 days, resulting in the death of about 19,000 Palestinians, and the injury of more than 52,000 others, 70% of whom are women and children, in an infinite toll, and the health system in the Gaza Strip is suffering. It is a very difficult situation, starting with the almost collapsed ambulance service. The occupation forces had previously stormed most of the hospitals in Gaza and its north, and abused medical staff, the displaced, the sick and the injured.
