Celebrating Andalusian Music in Amsterdam

I attended the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the founding of the AAO Amsterdam Andalusian Orchestra
The joyful concert brought together many Arabs, Moroccans and Dutch connoisseurs of Arabic and Maghreb music
The welcome and reception began with cups of Moroccan tea with delicious desserts
Then enter the showroom according to the reservation seat numbers
The concert started with authentic Arabic oriental music
Then the presenter of the ceremony appeared, the Dutch-Moroccan comedian Najib Amhali, who added an atmosphere of joy with his graceful words and communication with the audience present.
The artist, Mohamed Sharif, sang a beautiful Moroccan song, which the audience enjoyed
Then there was the peak of joy with the wonderful Umm Kulthum "Dart Al-Ayam"
Which was sung by the artist Fatiha with all its magnificence
The show was supplemented with dance segments that mixed choral and oriental and western music
Then the Director of Culture in the Municipality of Amsterdam, the Arab Mrs. Soraya Miliani, gave a speech about the importance of the band and its success in building a bridge of communication between Europe and Africa.
Then a souvenir with roses was presented to the founders and members of the Moroccan Andalusian Music Band
Moroccans have a great fondness for music of all kinds, western and eastern
So that hardly a single house is devoid of popular musical instruments
Umm Kulthum also had her soul present despite the absence of her body
Half a century after her death in 1974
Planet of the East Umm Kulthum, the eternal voice of Egypt
The words and melodies of her songs still live in the conscience and hearts of Egyptians and Arabs from the ocean to the Gulf and Europe from foreigners
Over the generations, this artistic legend lived with the giants of art Abdel Halim Hafez and the musician Mohamed Abdel Wahab and with them Farid Al-Atrash Muharram Fouad and Asmahan Warda Al-Jaza’irah Mayada Al-Hanawi Fayza Ahmed Najat Al-Saghir Muhammad Rushdi, Kandil, Hani Shaker and many others with the great composers Riyad Al-Sunbati Zakaria Ahmed, Muhammad Al-Qasabji, Muhammad Al-Mouji and Kamal Al-Taweel, Helmy Bakr, Mahmoud Al-Sharif, Baligh Hamdi, Ammar Al-Sharei, and Omar Khairat
And the poets Ibrahim Naji, Morsi Jamil Aziz, Hussein Al-Sayed and Abdul Rahman Al-Abnoudi
And the musicians Hani Muhanna, Omar Khorshid, Samir Sorour, Ahmed Effat and other patrons of taste and authentic golden art
When Egypt was an artistic, literary, cultural, and even religious and political pioneer
Before the decline of its historical role in favor of the Gulf oil channels
And the clips of Al-Inhalal are from Lebanon in the East and from the West as well
