The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, represented by the Agency for the Affairs of the King Abdul Aziz Complex for the Kiswah of the Kaaba and the General Administration for the Maintenance of the Kiswa, carried out the comprehensive periodic maintenance of the covering of the Kaaba.
Fahd bin Hadeed Al-Jabri, Director of the Maintenance of the Kaaba Garment Department in the Grand Mosque, said - in a statement reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) today, Monday, that the lower part of the kiswa was cut and torn by threads, explaining that it is maintained immediately by the maintenance team dedicated to the Kaaba in the form Required, the King Abdul Aziz Complex for the covering of the Kaaba also allocates a day to install silk cloth on the entire lower part and around the circumference of the Kaaba.

He stressed the importance of the great care and attention received by the covering of the Kaaba throughout the year, and the keenness of technicians in charge of maintaining the covering of the Kaaba to take the necessary measures and cover the observations that are monitored on the covering of the Kaaba with high quality and in record time without affecting the movement of pilgrims and worshipers.
