The European Commission in Brussels said that Commissioner Johannes Hahn will be present today, Wednesday, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates: to deliver a keynote speech at the Europe: Opportunity for Global Investors conference, organized by the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum (OMFIF).
According to the website of the organizers of the event, since its launch in 2021, the annual European Union bond issuance program worth 150 billion euros has provided momentum to transform the European economy and create a new opportunity for global investors.
This event, organized by OMFIF and with the participation of the European Commission, provides investors in the Middle East with insights into how EU bonds can develop into a global benchmark and as a safe asset for capital markets.
The event will bring together high-level representatives from the European Union - led by Johannes Hahn, European Commissioner for Budget and Administration - with senior representatives from central banks, sovereign funds, public pension funds, international financial institutions and influential business leaders in the Middle East.
