2 million Palestinians live in an area of 30 square kilometers.. and 250 thousand displaced persons are threatened in Gaza.. UNRWA: Israel did not officially inform us of the decision to confiscate our headquarters in Jerusalem

Cairo - Gaza: Agencies
The spokesman for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Adnan Abu Hasna, revealed that Israel has not officially informed the agency of its decision to confiscate the land on which its headquarters is located in the city of Jerusalem and turn the site into a new settlement area.
Abu Hasna said - in a special statement to Sky News Arabia - "We heard this Israeli decision through the media, and we have not been officially informed of it yet," stressing that this decision is part of a series of increasing attacks on UNRWA that have become more serious and dangerous, through legislation being submitted to the Israeli Knesset.
Last July, the Israeli Knesset approved the first reading of three draft laws classifying UNRWA as a "terrorist organization," and these laws are still under discussion.
For his part, Diab Al-Jarou, Mayor of Deir Al-Balah, confirmed that after more than a year of genocide, massacre, crime and unjust Zionist aggression on Gaza, and with the approach of winter, the suffering of the displaced is increasing dramatically, especially since many of the displaced people's tents have been built for nearly a year and these tents are not prepared to withstand the heat of the sun in the summer, which has led to their deterioration and deterioration to a great extent. The Mayor of Deir Al-Balah added, in special statements to "Youm7", that many of the displaced people, due to the narrow area that the occupation claimed was humane and safe and constituted nearly 11% of the Gaza Strip, or about 30 square kilometers of the entire area of Gaza, which is about 360 square kilometers, in which these people were present, were forced to go to the beaches of Gaza to set up tents there. He pointed out that more than 2 million Palestinians were present in this entire area of the Gaza Strip, and despite that, the world viewed that area as the most crowded in the world, so how is it today when there are 2 million Palestinians forced by the occupation to be present in a narrow strip whose total area does not exceed 30 square kilometers, so these people had no choice but to put their tents in any empty place they found. Diab Al-Jarou confirmed that the tents on the beach are exposed to complete submersion with the rise of sea waves in the winter, and those who put their tents in the course and estuaries of valleys are also exposed to certain death if their tents remain during the winter in these places. He explained that the families present in these places are close to 250 thousand displaced persons, and they are now required to evacuate those areas and move to safer areas in terms of the winter season, not total security in light of what they are exposed to by the Israeli occupation, pointing out that there are 100 thousand tents that have become dilapidated and need to be replaced.
