Geneva - Cairo: Europe and the Arabs
The Geneva-based International Network for Human Rights Information called on the Arab countries participating in the "Emergency Arab Summit" on the developments of the Palestinian issue scheduled to be held on March 4 in Cairo, to condemn Israel's horrific crimes against the Palestinian people and its serious violations of international law during the upcoming summit. According to what was published on her Facebook account, Amani Azzam, Director of the International Network for Human Rights Information in Cairo,
The General Coordinator of the International Network, Faisal Foulad, confirmed that what Israel is committing against the defenseless Palestinian people amounts to war crimes against humanity, genocide, ethnic cleansing, and the deliberate displacement of Palestinians from their historical land.
Foulad, on behalf of the international coalition, called for all Arab countries to stand with Egypt and Jordan to confront the displacement plan that the US President is openly calling for and not to stop at issuing statements of condemnation.
The network appreciated the role of the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, President of the current session of the Arab Summit, and the prominent role of His Excellency the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt in supporting the Palestinian cause, especially the stance of the leadership and people of the great Egypt against the implementation of the displacement plan despite Egypt's difficult economic conditions and the huge external pressures it is suffering. It is noteworthy that the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs set the date for the summit on March 4 after coordination with the Kingdom of Bahrain (President of the current session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the summit level), and in consultation with the Arab countries.
