Egypt's Ambassador to the European Union Participates in the Annual Iftar of the Egyptian Community in Luxembourg

Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid, Egypt's Ambassador to the European Union, Belgium, Luxembourg and NATO, participated in the annual Iftar party for the Egyptian community in Luxembourg, organized by the Egyptian Association in Luxembourg, where he congratulated them on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

Ambassador Abu Zeid was keen to hold an open dialogue with the community, during which he reviewed the most important features of Egyptian/Luxembourg relations and the remarkable development they have witnessed during the recent period, and the efforts made by the Egyptian state to enhance and develop communication mechanisms with Egyptian communities abroad, including developing consular work mechanisms and expanding the digitization of consular services, which contributes to developing the services provided and facilitating them for Egyptian citizens abroad.
The meeting also touched on the developments taking place in the Middle East region and Egypt's role in establishing the pillars of stability in the region, in addition to the economic challenges facing Egypt, where Ambassador Abu Zeid encouraged members of the community to invest in Egypt, enhance confidence in the economy and promote it abroad.
Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid also stressed the importance of further involvement of the community in the activities organized for Egyptians abroad, including the “Egyptians Abroad Conference,” as well as the participation of youth and school students of different generations in cultural and awareness visits to Egypt, in addition to the cultural activities organized by the embassy to maintain strong ties between the younger generations and their motherland.
