Syria: Israeli airstrikes on Latakia and a new incursion into Quneitra. Reports: A gathering area for foreign fighters was targeted.

Latakia - Brussels: Europe and the Arabs
Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes this morning targeting the 110th Brigade in the Mina al-Bayda area in the town of Ras Shamra in Latakia Governorate.
The area, which local residents believe is a "gathering point for foreign fighters linked to the New Syrian Army," witnessed an attack described by local residents as "targeted and precise."
The sounds of the explosions and the nature of the attack, according to what was published by the European news network Euronews in Brussels on Thursday.
Muhammad, a resident near the Mina al-Bayda area, told Euronews, "The sounds were deafening, and we did not hear any warplanes or helicopters, but the sounds we heard were clearly those of drones flying overhead."
Other testimonies confirmed the same account. Fatima, a resident of the neighborhood adjacent to the port, told Euronews, "The sounds were terrifying, and the explosions seemed to be precise and aimed with extreme accuracy." She added, "After the raids ended, we heard the sounds of ambulances heading to the targeted site. We do not yet know whether there were any casualties as a result of the attack."
Movements of Foreign Militants Before the Attack
According to another local source who preferred to speak under the pseudonym Abu Ahmed for fear of security prosecution, foreign militants affiliated with the "New Syrian Army" were using the 110th Brigade as a base.
He explained, "Hours before the attack, we saw a military convoy of several vehicles leaving the area toward the Saqoubin area in the Latakia countryside."
He added, "However, it appears that some militants remained at the site, because we heard the sounds of anti-aircraft missiles during the attack. These missiles were firing heavily into the sky, indicating the presence of active elements in the port."
The Syrian Ministry of Defense has not issued any official comment regarding the nature of these attacks or the extent of the resulting losses. Details of the attack according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that Israeli warplanes launched an airstrike at dawn today targeting ammunition depots in the "White Port" in Latakia, using at least six missiles. The attack resulted in extensive material damage, including the destruction of an ammunition depot, and the explosions continued for dozens of minutes. At the time of writing, there was no confirmed information about human casualties.
This is the second attack on the White Port area of the same name, after it was targeted on December 10 of last year.
Another Israeli incursion into Quneitra
In a related development, Israeli forces carried out an incursion after midnight Wednesday-Thursday on the road between the town of Khan Arnabeh and the village of Kom Muhaires in the southern Quneitra countryside.
According to information confirmed by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the invading forces detonated several sites within a military battalion near the Kom Muhaires village junction, triggering a series of massive explosions that rocked the area.
Forces also targeted a military site belonging to the 90th Brigade in the village of Ain Aisha, before shelling a power station in the same area with artillery shells.
