Ukraine: 45,200 Russian soldiers have been killed since the start of the military operation

Today, Sunday, the Ukrainian army announced that the death toll of Russian soldiers has risen to 45,200 since the start of the military operation on February 24 until today, August 21. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated, on its official page on Facebook, that Russia also lost 1,912 tanks, 4,224 armored vehicles, 1,028 artillery systems, 266 multiple launcher systems, 234 aircraft, 197 helicopters and 15 ships. And 3,143 vehicles and fuel tanks, as well as 99 units of special equipment. In a related context, the Ukrainian Prosecutor's Office announced that the number of children victims of Russian attacks in Ukraine has reached 373 dead and 721 injured since the start of the Russian military operation on February 24. He added that 2,328 educational institutions were destroyed as a result of the bombings by the Russian armed forces, including 289 institutions that were completely destroyed. Last February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a special military operation in Ukraine over the Donbass, which later turned into a military conflict between the two parties, which resulted in casualties on both sides and imposed sanctions on Russia.
