Threats against politicians in the Netherlands escalate

The Dutch news agency ANP published a report to the security services, which expressed their fears and concern about the increasing reinforcements that affected parliamentarians and politicians, and 588 cases were recorded within one year.

The report linked such threats to the Corona epidemic and the negative economic and social repercussions that broad groups of Dutch society suffered, especially since private companies were subjected to bankruptcy and many investors were forced to close their shops, restaurants and cafes in a number of cities and villages in the Kingdom.

Cases of attacks on ministers in the Dutch government as well as parliamentarians in The Hague by farmers who reject the agricultural policy have increased.

The royal family did not escape the protest, whistling and treachery on Princes' Day in the Dutch capital.
