Yesterday, Thursday, June 1, 2023 in Rabat, the Moroccan Prime Minister, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, chaired the works of the tenth meeting of the Ministerial Committee for Moroccans Living Abroad and Immigration Affairs.
According to a press release, of which we received a copy, this meeting constituted an occasion to present the summaries of the work of the thematic committees, which worked on formulating an executive program to implement the royal instructions contained in the royal speech on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of the King and the People's Revolution.
During the meeting, the Head of Government recalled the royal care that His Majesty gives to the issues and affairs of Moroccan citizens abroad, recalling the government's commitment to implementing the government program 2021-2026, in the field of improving the conditions of Moroccans of the world and the measures and procedures it includes aimed at responding to their various needs and aspirations. ‏
The Head of Government called on all concerned parties to increase the pace of the various measures included in the executive program related to the implementation of the royal high speech, in a way that responds to the aspirations of Moroccans of the world, especially with regard to preserving their rights and interests, simplifying and digitizing administrative procedures and services, valuing Moroccan competencies and talents abroad, and facilitating access to Moroccans around the world to invest in their motherland
In his turn, Mr. Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad, indicated that within the framework of interaction with the Royal Speech of August 20, 2022, and according to the outcomes of the ninth meeting of the Ministerial Committee held on August 30, 2022, during which it was decided to set up thematic committees. It is preparing an executive program that includes various measures related to the implementation of the royal directives regarding Moroccans of the world.
