European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell confirmed Europe's success in reducing its dependence on "Russian energy."

He explained that a large number of African countries are suffering from famine because of this, while Europe is not affected by the issue of grain, as it is able to secure its needs from its internal crops.
And the European Union's foreign policy official, Josep Borrell, said that Russian President Vladimir Putin is working to destroy Ukraine, destroying all its electric lines and bringing it into a dark and cold winter.
He added that the Russian president believes that winter will weaken the resolve of Ukrainians and Ukrainian forces and believes that democracies are weak and fragile.
