Aziz Bekkaoui from the Tafougalt Mountains of Morocco to fame in the world of fashion design.

Brussels: Europe and the Arabs
Many of the successes achieved by the children of immigrants in Europe were behind them a story of struggle, determination and determination to prove themselves, and they became a role model and a focus of attention for others, especially on the part of European societies. These models are Aziz Bikawi, a designer of a variety of fashions and creations that roamed the world, and in 2007 he won the Art Prize of the city of Amsterdam. He usually says words in which he affirms that “Morocco is always present in his creations, and that the Dutch public today is fascinated by the beauty and splendor of his country, and therefore he always seeks to highlight this beauty.” . Journalist Noureddine Al-Omrani, who resides in the Netherlands, says that the media in The Hague publishes from time to time news and follow-ups of the activities in which he participates. Al-Omrani adds:
- Aziz Bakawi immigrated in the sixties from his birthplace, Tafogalt, located in the eastern region of Morocco, not far from the city of Berkane, to land in the city of Amsterdam in the framework of the family gathering. At that time, he was no more than six years old.
- Bakawi says, "I moved to Berkan to learn, and the jurist had his language that everyone knows, the stick is for those who disobeyed, and at that time I was required to read the Qur'anic paintings in classical Arabic.
- And I moved to the Netherlands, and exactly in the Voorburg district of Denhach, where I was following the lessons of memorizing the Noble Qur’an, so that the scene would be repeated, alongside Ahmed Abu Talib, the current mayor of Rotterdam, and his father was a jurist in the same school every Sunday of the week
- This period made him an ambitious young man in a society that at that time did not recognize pluralism or what is now called the bridge that brings together cultures, and Aziz considered that period as a stepping stone to achieving his goals and artistic mission.
- Richness will not be achieved except by linking contact with the human being, dialogue with him, and exchanging ideas and experiences. From here his first start was to join the Artis College in Arnhem, which is currently headed by Ahmed Markoush. About this period, Aziz Bakawi says - “Human issues for me are not files. I had previously pursued my studies as an engineer, but I moved away from engineering related to buildings because it is meaningless simply because it is concrete. In my work, I proceed from the idea of love that binds us with people, and that freedom is the basis for dealing with all peoples. This is what I try to do, and I have noticed that. Many journalists and politicians, and I am proud of my achievements, and I hope that our youth will work in the future to carry the message and deliver it to the world.
- As a human being, I wanted and want to communicate with people through the colors and works that I present to the community, whether as a fashion designer or as an artist.
