In 2022, 9,265 companies will be declared bankrupt in Belgium. This represents an increase of 42% compared to 2021 (6,533 bankruptcies). This also represents a decrease of 13% compared to 2019 (10,598 bankruptcies), the last year that COVID-19 had no impact.
