And the Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform stated that, according to German reports, the manufacturer has expressed its willingness to deliver 29 Leopard 2A4 tanks by April to May, and it may also deliver another 22 tanks of the same type at the end of 2023 or early 2024.

In addition, the company could also transfer 88 older Leopard 1 tanks, but did not give a specific time frame for completing this process.
It was also reported that Poland announced its intention to ask Berlin to agree to the transfer of Polish Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, and in the absence of such approval, Warsaw intends in any case to transfer the tanks to Kyiv within the "junior coalition" of Western countries.

This came after the leader of the right-wing opposition National Rally party in the French Parliament, Marine Le Pen, announced that she opposes the supply of heavy tanks to Ukraine.
 
Le Pen told French BFMTV: "I refuse to supply heavy tanks to Ukraine and I have spoken about it and I think it may lead to an exacerbation of the conflict and that we do not internationalize the conflict by providing heavy weapons. It is a great danger and a danger to a negotiated peaceful solution."
 
Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron announced that he was not ruling out any options regarding other arms supplies to Ukraine, including Leclerc tanks.
The French Ministry of Defense stated that Paris will transfer the AMX-10RC armored vehicles or wheeled tanks to Ukraine within two months.
