Italy continues to suffer from high temperatures despite the beginning of the fall season, due to the African hurricane that reached the country, according to the Italian newspaper El Giornale.
The newspaper pointed out that there are expectations that this heat wave, which the country is witnessing for the first time in October after the beginning of the fall season, will end, and with the beginning of next week the country will witness rain, storms, and a noticeable drop in temperatures.
The African cyclone is expected to gradually withdraw from Italy between Saturday, October 14 and Sunday, October 15. Until then, good weather and heat will prevail in most Italian regions, but this week the entire country will be under the influence of the summer cyclone. According to what was reported by the Youm7 website in Cairo
Skies are expected to be clear in most areas, with the possibility of slightly increased clouds in Liguria and Upper Tuscany and along the coasts of Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia, especially in the morning. Local fog is also possible, and temperatures will remain above average for this time of year. , where maximum temperatures will exceed 30 degrees Celsius, not only in the central north, but also in the south, including Sicily and Puglia.
The arrival of these currents in the Mediterranean Sea, where temperatures are still high, will lead to the formation of a hurricane that will bring a severe period of bad weather to many Italian regions.
Rain and even snow are expected at altitudes approaching 2,000 metres, with a noticeable drop in temperatures that may reach 10 degrees Celsius compared to the coming days.

The glaciers on the Italian and French borders are melting as a result of climate change, and European glaciers, which are located at lower altitudes than other regions of the world, have lost about a third of their volume between 2000 and 2020, according to scientific data.
