Egypt's agricultural exports rise to 2 billion and 604 million dollars within 8 months

Egyptian exports of agricultural commodities recorded a noticeable increase in the recent period, according to data from the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics, as the total value of agricultural commodity exports amounted to about two billion and 604 million dollars in the period from January to last August, compared to two billion and 88 million dollars in the same period of Last year, 2022, with an increase amounting to about 515 million and 512 thousand dollars. According to a publication on the Youm7 news website in Cairo
Data issued by the Statistics Authority said that the most important agricultural commodity exports were mango, and the value of its exports amounted to 38 million and 824 thousand dollars during the first 8 months of the current year, compared to 22 million and 472 thousand dollars in the same period in 2022, an increase amounting to about 16 million 352 thousand. dollars, followed by fresh grape exports worth 282 million and 176 thousand dollars during the reporting period, compared to 245 million and 782 thousand dollars in the same period of last year 2022, an increase of 36 million and 394 thousand dollars.
The Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics announced the monthly bulletin of foreign trade data for August 2023, where the value of the trade balance deficit reached $3.88 billion during last August, compared to $4.99 billion for the same month of the previous year, a decrease of 22.3%.
