The Egyptian ambassador to Brussels indicates the continued turnout of Egyptians to vote on the second day of the presidential elections

Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, Egyptian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Duchy of Luxembourg and its delegate to the European Union and NATO, stated that the second day of Egyptians voting abroad witnesses an increase in the voting of Egyptians residing and present in the territories of Belgium and Luxembourg in the 2024 presidential elections.
Ambassador Badr Abdel Ati confirmed that the voting process began on the second day of voting at exactly nine in the morning without any problems or obstacles, pointing to the facilities provided by the embassy to complete the voting process smoothly and easily, and it witnessed a good turnout and influx of members of the community despite the harsh weather, which It reflects the awareness among the people of Egypt, Belgium and Luxembourg of the importance of exercising their constitutional right and participating in shaping the future of their country.
Abdel-Aty expected the number of voters to increase during the second day and the third and final day of the end of the voting process over the weekend, before the voting process closes at exactly nine o’clock tomorrow evening, Sunday, December 3, in preparation for the start of the process of numerically counting those who cast their votes, and the start of the sorting process and determining the number of valid votes. These are invalid and the number of votes obtained by each candidate, and sending all lists and results to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and from there to the general committee supervising the election committees abroad formed by the decision of the National Elections Authority.
Ambassador Badr Abdel Aty expressed his confidence that the completion of the participation of the people of Egypt in Belgium and Luxembourg in the presidential elections will emerge in a civilized and honorable manner, and reflect the extent of their attachment to our beloved Egypt.
