Brussels: Europe and the Arabs
Artificial intelligence has gained momentum in recent months and is quickly becoming more accessible to everyone. This penetration is also clearly visible in the business world, as evidenced by the latest results of a survey on the use of ICT and e-commerce in companies conducted by Statbel, the Belgian statistical office.
The results, published today, Thursday, and a copy of which were received, said that by 2023, approximately one in seven companies (13.8%) would use artificial intelligence. In companies with more than 250 employees, this applies to one in two (47.9%).
The most commonly used AI techniques are analysis of written language (6.0%), organization of different workflows or decision support (5.1%), and machine learning such as deep learning (4.8%).
In large companies (250 or more employees), AI is commonly used for streamlining workflow or decision support (29.7%), machine learning (27.8%), and for analyzing written language (22.8%).
