The price of all-inclusive holidays continues to rise in the European Union during the current year

The European Statistical Office in Brussels said that in July 2024, the consumer price of inclusive holidays in the European Union was 6.6% higher than in July 2023. The price of domestic inclusive holidays rose by 11.1%, while international inclusive holidays saw an increase of 5.7%.
According to figures released by the European Statistical Office "Eurostat", the price of inclusive holidays has been rising across the European Union since August 2021. The annual rate of increase exceeded 10% in most months throughout 2022 and 2023. In particular, domestic inclusive holidays saw a rise in prices in 2023, with the annual inflation rate exceeding 20% ​​for 7 months that year.
In July 2024, most EU countries reported a positive annual inflation rate for inclusive holidays sold within their countries. The highest increases in packages purchased were recorded in France (+22.2% compared to July 2023), Italy (+19.5%) and Cyprus (+16.7%). In contrast, three EU countries recorded a negative inflation rate for holiday packages: Malta (-2.9%), Finland (-2.7%) and Denmark (-0.2%).
