For his part, US President Donald Trump called on Jordan and Egypt to receive more Palestinians from Gaza, referring to the humanitarian crisis resulting from the Israeli war. In turn, the resigned Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, welcomed Trump's initiative, calling on the Israeli government to encourage the voluntary migration of Palestinians.
The Islamic Jihad Movement responded and said that it condemns in the strongest terms the US President's statements regarding the deportation of our people in the Gaza Strip outside their land.

In Lebanon, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that two people were killed and 31 others were injured by Israeli army gunfire while trying to return to their homes in a border area, where Israeli forces are still stationed after the deadline for their withdrawal has passed.
The US agreement had set a 60-day deadline for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from southern Lebanon, but Israel announced that it would keep its forces after the deadline. In return, the Lebanese army accused Israel of procrastinating in implementing the withdrawal, while the Israeli forces confirmed that they are investigating the incident.

For his part, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun affirmed support for Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity, noting that these principles are non-negotiable. The President said that he shares the joy of the people of the south in the victory of truth, stressing the need for self-restraint and trust in the Lebanese Armed Forces, which are playing their role in protecting security and stability. The Lebanese President added that he is following up on this issue at the highest levels to ensure and protect Lebanon's rights, stressing that Lebanon will remain committed to its sovereignty and unity in the face of all challenges.
