According to what was published by the European news network in Brussels, "Euronews," it added that, in return, Israel confirmed the reopening of the crossings but insisted on keeping the Rafah crossing closed, citing the bodies of the Israeli hostages.

Jordan's King Abdullah II stressed on Sunday the need to ensure implementation and adherence to the agreement to end the war in the Gaza Strip.
This came during a phone call with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, according to a statement from the Royal Court.
The statement stated that King Abdullah stressed "the need to ensure the implementation of the agreement to end the war in Gaza in all its stages, and to adhere to the ceasefire in order to achieve the desired calm."
This comes as meetings of EU foreign ministers are being held. The European Union will meet in Luxembourg on Monday, chaired by Kaya Kallas, the European Union's foreign and security policy coordinator. According to what was announced by the European institutions, the developments in the situation in the Middle East, especially the developments in implementing the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel, will be at the forefront of the ministerial discussions, along with other files, including the situation in Sudan, Ukraine, and others.
