Iraq and France are discussing the file of the Syrian Al-Hol camp and ways to support efforts to combat terrorism

The Iraqi National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, discussed with the French Ambassador to Baghdad, Eric Chevalier, the file of the Syrian Al-Hawl camp and the importance of ending this sensitive file; To support efforts to combat terrorism and the stability of the region and the world.
Al-Araji reviewed with the French ambassador - according to the Iraqi channel (Alsumaria News) - the wonderful opening of Khaleeji 25 in Basra, expressing that the Iraqis hope that this success will be crowned by lifting the ban on Iraqi stadiums.
The meeting also discussed the political and security situation, at the regional and international levels, and emphasized the importance of continuing cooperation and partnership between Baghdad and Paris in the field of combating terrorism and exchanging information and experiences.
In addition, the Iraqi Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, confirmed that the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, directed an analysis of the events of the opening of the Arab Gulf Cup "Gulf 25" in Basra Governorate.
Al-Shammari said: "What happened yesterday in the organizational matters of the Gulf 25, will not be repeated," pointing out that the security plan has been completely reorganized in the province to reach an integrated organization without any blemish.
For his part, the head of the Iraqi federation, Adnan Darjal, clarified his keenness to correct what happened at the opening of "Gulf 25", pointing out that "such matters and mistakes are possible."
