UNICEF is supporting the Sudanese Ministry of Health in maintaining immunization services across the country. By May 16, immunization supplies for 244,000 children had been dispatched from the capital, Khartoum, to seven states.
UNICEF also provided about 1,500 ready-to-use therapeutic food packages to a shelter in Khartoum, where 200 children are facing severe food shortages.
