Putin confirms that he will not attend the G20 summit in New Delhi.. Lavrov will represent Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin had a phone conversation with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during which the two leaders discussed the development of Russian-Indian relations.

This came in what was reported by the Kremlin press service, where the two presidents discussed the further development of bilateral cooperation in the field of space, and discussed cooperation in the fields of energy and the establishment of transportation infrastructure.

The two presidents also discussed the results of the "BRICS" summit, stressed the importance of expanding the organization, and exchanged views on the upcoming G-20 summit in New Delhi.

In the same context, the Indian government said that Putin had told Modi that he would not be able to attend the G20 summit in New Delhi, according to Reuters.

She added that he had also told him that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov would represent Moscow at the summit.
