The White House: American military aid to Ukraine will not continue indefinitely... and the Pentagon fears “ammunition scarcity” following Israel’s aid.

White House Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby announced that the United States will not provide military aid to Ukraine indefinitely.
Kirby said: “Today we announced the allocation of 200 million, and we will continue to help as much as we can, but the help will not be indefinite.”
He noted that the United States has the capacity in the short term to support both Ukraine and Israel. But he declined to say specifically what "in the short term" means.
He added that a lot depends on how intensively the Israeli army spends on ammunition and the extent of the ability of the Israeli military industrial complex to supply its army with missiles.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, is in a very difficult situation, and Europe and the United States have begun to get bored with him, and he feels this and begins to get confused and panic.
Business Insider reported that aid to Ukraine has occupied Washington's attention, and weapons have been sent there even from Israel, but new hostilities in Israel could change that situation.
For its part, CNN reported, citing American military officials, that the Pentagon is concerned about the possibility of an ammunition shortage resulting from Washington’s support for Ukraine and Israel at the same time.
CNN indicated that Ukraine and Israel are requesting different types of ammunition, as Ukraine is requesting ammunition for artillery, while Israel needs high-precision aerial bombs and interceptor missiles for Iron Dome systems.
It is noted in the channel’s report that if Israel begins a ground operation in the Gaza Strip, the demand for 155 mm artillery shells and other ammunition will increase, while the United States faces running out of its stocks after 18 months of supporting Ukraine.
According to CNN, the Pentagon has begun contacting American arms producers in order to speed up the implementation of Israeli requests that were not considered urgent several days ago.
It is noteworthy that US President Joe Biden confirmed that the United States will provide Israel with everything it needs, against the backdrop of the continued provision of military aid to Ukraine, the total value of which has reached about 44 billion dollars since the start of the Russian military operation in February 2022.
Last Saturday, Hamas launched Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood,” during which Israel was targeted with several thousand missiles from the Gaza Strip, and Palestinian fighters also carried out specific operations.
In response, the Israeli army launched Operation Iron Swords, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called on the Palestinians to leave Gaza, threatening to destroy the Hamas movement and turn Gaza into ruin.
