Condemnation statements continued from various world capitals regarding the terrorist attack that occurred last night in a suburb of the Russian capital, Moscow. In this context, the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, expressed her gratitude to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, for amending his position on the terrorist attack on the outskirts of Moscow and expressing a clear position condemning what It happened.
Zakharova wrote on her Telegram channel: “We thank the Secretary-General of the United Nations for the quick amendment and formulation of a clear position!”
The Office of the Secretary-General of the United Nations said that it "strongly" condemns the terrorist attack on the "Crux City Hall" mall on the outskirts of the Russian capital, Moscow.
Zakharova previously stated that the statement of the Office of the United Nations Secretary-General, in which it said that it was "saddened" by what happened in the mall, does not match what happened, as the footage of the bloody terrorist attack does not evoke "sadness", but rather horror and shock.
The Crocs City Hall shopping center in the city of Krasnogorsk, on the outskirts of the Russian capital, Moscow, was subjected to a terrorist attack on Friday evening.
The Russian Federal Security Service reported that 40 people were killed and more than 100 injured in the terrorist attack on the Crooks City Hall shopping center on the outskirts of Moscow, according to preliminary data.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated that the statements of the American and British embassies in Moscow are evidence that the intelligence services of these two countries had information about the terrorist attack in Moscow.
Vucic said in an interview with Channel One of Serbian TV, on Friday: “On March 7, the American embassy called on its citizens to avoid visiting commercial centers. Then the British and some other countries took the same step.”
He continued: "This means that their intelligence intercepted certain discussions, obtained information, and was aware that something would happen."
He added, "There is a global country, and it is not America, that follows this method of action," but he refrained from mentioning any country by name.
Before that, Vucic announced that he would hold an emergency meeting of the Serbian National Security Council on Saturday morning, against the backdrop of the terrorist act in the Crocus City Hall mall on the outskirts of Moscow.
The Serbian President offered condolences to the Russian leadership and people for the casualties resulting from the attack.
US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby denied Washington's knowledge of any possible terrorist acts, indicating that the embassy's recommendations were of a general nature and did not mean anything specific.
White House spokesman John Kirby said that the United States does not encourage or facilitate Ukrainian attacks on targets located in territories that the United States recognizes as Russian.
Kirby added during a press conference held on Friday: “As we said, we do not encourage or facilitate attacks inside Russian territory.”
Kirby's comment came in response to a question about the accuracy of the news that the United States is demanding that Ukraine not strike Russian energy infrastructure facilities to avoid rising oil prices on the global market.
Kiev forces carry out attacks on an almost daily basis with Western-made drones and missiles, targeting areas inside Russian territory, causing civilian casualties.
