Iraq signs an agreement with Italy to finance projects worth one billion dollars

The advisor to the Iraqi Prime Minister, Engineer Muhammad Sahib Al-Daraji, confirmed that an agreement had been signed with Italy. To finance projects in Iraq worth one billion dollars.
According to what was reported by the Middle East News Agency, Al-Daraji said - in a special statement to the Al-Iraqiya news channel, on Saturday - that “during his visit to Italy, he signed an agreement to finance projects that included several fields, including iron, medicine, agriculture, and glass.”
He added, "We also signed memorandums of understanding between companies in the private sector and their Italian counterparts to supply production lines to Iraq, as well as with Italian banks that will finance 85% of the factories that will be established in Iraq."
