Lavrov: America considers Russia a threat at present and Trump may prioritize containing China

Moscow: Agencies
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that containing China will be a priority task for the United States under Donald Trump, while Washington considers Russia a "threat at the present time."
Lavrov added: "The Joe Biden administration has set the task of containing China, and I assume that it will remain a priority for the Donald Trump administration as well.. We represent the "threat" today, and Washington cannot allow Russia to prove that it is.. Lavrov said: "Russia is a strong player or undermines the reputation of the West," according to the Russian TASS news agency, today, Thursday.
The chief Russian diplomat stressed that reputation is the most important thing for the United States, which does not care about the real fate of peoples, especially the Ukrainian fate. According to what was reported by the Youm7 website in Cairo from the Middle East News Agency
He continued: "They do not care about Ukraine.. They care about their reputation: They once said that Ukraine would take over this government, but suddenly someone dared to object. Russia? A big country indeed, but it must be put in its place. “That’s what it’s all about, it’s not about the fate of the Ukrainian people at all, they don’t care about the people.”
