Brussels: Europe and the Arabs
In an unprecedented move that reflects the awareness of the Moroccan community abroad of the need to improve its conditions, a number of representatives of the community announced the drafting of the "White Paper", a document that contains an accurate diagnosis of the challenges and demands of Moroccans abroad, in addition to comprehensive solution proposals. This book was named "The White Paper" in honor of the color of peace and neutrality, in reference to the positive and constructive nature of this initiative.
A statement was distributed and we received a copy of it from the Islamic preacher Nourredine Tawil, one of the most famous preachers in Belgium and one of the participants in drafting and drafting the White Paper, along with a number of Moroccans abroad, including figures from European countries. This statement, which included a copy of the White Paper, stated:
Features of the document
The book aims to shed light on the suffering of Moroccans abroad on the political, economic, and social levels, while presenting reform visions that reflect their aspirations, while preserving the Moroccan identity. The document reviews various problems faced by the community, from high travel costs to difficulties in communicating with official Moroccan institutions, passing through the challenges facing third- and fourth-generation Moroccan youth in countries of immigration.

The "White Paper" carries a clear message to the Moroccan authorities calling on them to give the Moroccan community abroad the attention it deserves, and to achieve real openness that enhances its role in the development of the country, whether through its economic contributions or through the transfer of its experiences gained in countries of immigration. The book also reflects the awareness of the Moroccan community of the need to work together with the state to find sustainable solutions to the challenges it faces.
