
Costa Rica seizes 2.5 tons of cocaine destined for Belgium

The Costa Rican police have seized 2.5 tons of cocaine destined for Belgium in the port of Moin. Police discovered the drugs in a container of fruit.
The Costa Rican Ministry of Public Security announced this in a tweet on Saturday. Central America is an important transit port for drugs from South America to the United States or Europe.
In 2020, another six tons of coke destined for the Netherlands were seized in Moin.
