The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, stressed that the upcoming climate summit is a unique opportunity to prepare a full proposal for our priorities, noting that the Arab region, although it contributes a small percentage to the negative effects of climate changes, is the most affected by these changes, as the region suffers from a clear water shortage. The recent crises have added additional burdens to the crises it is already experiencing.
