The President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, Maryam Rajavi, called on the international community and Western governments to do their duty towards the Iranian people's uprising, which is achieving daily victories despite the mullahs' regime's repression.
In a message she sent via the Internet to the US Congress meeting, she said that the world should recognize the right of the Iranian people to self-defense in the face of brutal repression and enable Iranians to have access to a free Internet.
She urged Western countries to stand by the Iranian people and their desire for democratic change, and to recognize the imminence of change in Iran, stressing that its signs are looming on the horizon more than ever.
In this context, she referred to the demands of the Iranians that appear in the chants of death to the dictator and death to Khamenei, which means that they want to bring down the entire regime.
She stated that within 5 weeks, despite the killing of more than 400 people from the uprising and the arrest of more than 20,000 of them, and the killing of at least 30 to 40 unarmed prisoners in Evin Prison because of their support for the uprising, the regime was unable to stop the protests, noting that the wall of fear was cracked in Iranian society.
In her message, Rajavi focused on the events of the past five weeks, especially the militant spirit of the younger generation, the presence of resistance units throughout the country, and the popular support that confirms the entry into a new phase.
She pointed to the roots of the protests represented by the resistance to political and social oppression and economic crises over the past four decades, and the emergence of the uprising from the sacrifices of those who struggled against this regime, stressing the presence of organized resistance at the forefront of the people's struggle.
She stated that the continuation of the uprising is based on the organization of the resistance units and their activities on the street, and one of its features is the active presence of university and school students, noting that the regime has repeatedly recognized the leading role of members of the resistance units and threatened these units.
While stopping at the background of the protests, Rajavi pointed out in her letter the inability of the mullahs' regime to meet the basic demands of the Iranian people.
Regarding the role of women in the uprising, Rajavi said that their only and main demand is to change the regime to obtain their rights, noting that a large number of young women were killed after Mahsa Amini's killing.
The next steps for the collapse of the mullahs' regime were defined by the establishment of an interim government that would take charge of the country's affairs and hold elections for the Constituent Assembly within a period not exceeding 6 months, and the assembly would choose a new interim government, supervise its performance, and draft the constitution for the new republic.
In this context, she referred to the project of the National Council of Resistance of Iran - as an alternative to the regime - which provides for the transfer of power in a very short transitional period to the people through free elections.
The way to victory
The National Council of Resistance of Iran revealed new details about the conditions of the repressive forces affiliated with the mullahs' regime and the effects of the blows that the popular uprising, which has entered its second month, has dealt with the rule of the Supreme Leader.
Statement No. 2 issued by the Security and Counter-Terrorism Committee of the National Council of Resistance cites a “top secret” document leaked from within the regime, which includes the orders of the Commander of the Guard, Major General Hossein Salami, to suppress the uprising.
Among the instructions issued by Salami to refrain from using unmotivated, disaffected and weak organizational employees in riot control and calm work, which means excluding the police, assigning the work of suppressing the uprising to the guards, and showing the low morale of the regime and its repressive apparatus and the weakness of organizational loyalty due to the continuation of the uprising in the street and the struggle of the revolutionaries.
The instructions related to the acts of violence and attacks carried out in order to occupy the areas and headquarters of the resistance included an emphasis on the use of the necessary forces for protection, the double escort of the weapons, ammunition and equipment available in these centers, taking appropriate measures to ensure their use, and clear indications of the guards' fear and their compelling to adopt defensive tactics in the face of the attacks of the revolutionaries. .
According to the reports of the resistance units, that the regime is facing a shortage of forces, the members of the “Basij” have refrained from joining their positions and participating in the missions, forcing the regime to evacuate many bases to avoid the attacks of the uprising.
It appears through documents and reports that the struggle and the maximum intrusion and the demolition of centers and elements of repression is the right way to push the uprising steps forward and exhaust the repressive forces, as the experience of the confrontation waged by the People’s Mojahedin Organization over the past four decades has proven that the regime forces are weak and fragile when facing the uprising even If only she was armed.
The uprising doubled its devastating effects on the forces of repression, with the expansion of attacks, its extension to various regions of the country, and its multiplicity of forms, which confirms that the victory of the democratic revolution passes through this path.
