The Polish Parliament classifies Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism

The Polish parliament has voted to classify Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism, in light of its military operation in Ukraine.

Today, Thursday, Radio Poland stated that the House of Representatives approved the decision by 231 votes to two, with one abstention, while 226 deputies, mostly from the opposition, did not participate in the vote.

The European Parliament has classified Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism, claiming that the military attacks launched by Moscow on civilian targets in Ukraine violate international law.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky urged the United States and other countries to declare Russia a state sponsor of terrorism, accusing its forces of targeting civilians, which Moscow denies.
