Mount Moulay El-Hassan in Spain is considered one of the highest European mountain peaks, and this name dates back to one of the kings of Granada more than five centuries ago, according to what came in a tweet by the European Union spokesperson in the Middle East and North Africa, Luis Miguel Bueno.
And who is currently spending his winter vacation and published a picture of him practicing the hobby of mountaineering and wrote, "I climbed a mountain called "Mulhacen" in Spain during my vacation.
  The name of this mountain is of Arabic origin ("Mawlay al-Hasan"). It is named after the king of Granada in the 15th century who is said to have been buried on top of the mountain.
It's nice that the highest peak in Western Europe outside the Alps has an Arabic name
