The Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform indicated that in Kyiv, Michel will meet again with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Prime Minister Denys Anatolyvig Shmykal and members of Parliament.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Thursday called on the international community to provide more weapons to Ukraine to liberate some regions, including Crimea.
Zelensky said - in a video statement during the World Economic Forum in Davos - "Our goal is to liberate all our lands, Crimea is our land, our sea and our mountains, give us your weapons and we will take back everything that is ours," according to the Ukrainian news agency "Ukrinform".

The Ukrainian president also stressed that the Russian Federation has the opportunity to voluntarily withdraw from all the territories of Ukraine seized since 2014.

At the same time, Zelensky criticized Germany's reluctance to provide Ukraine with its modern "Leopard" tanks, after reports that Berlin would not provide Kyiv with these tanks unless Washington provided it with its "Abrams" tanks.

These statements coincide with the issuance of reports published by US media stating that US President Joe Biden's administration has begun to see that Ukraine needs additional capabilities to attack Crimea.
The separate sessions of the Davos World Economic Forum witnessed important discussions about economic fears of the continuation of the global wave of inflation and recession that threatens the economies of major and developing countries alike, but the Ukrainian war file dominated most of the discussions, according to a report published by the Spanish newspaper Labangordia on Thursday.
On the sidelines of the forum, Avril Haines, Director of US National Intelligence, said that fighting continues along the fronts, but the pace of the Russian war in Ukraine has significantly decreased.

While NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stressed the importance of acting now, he said that Russia is planning new attacks and recruiting more soldiers, stressing that there is an urgent need for more advanced support, including air defense systems, and that "we must fight for Our democratic values - we have to prove that freedom triumphs over tyranny," according to the Spanish newspaper "La Pangordia".

While Polish President Andrzej Duda warned that Russia is likely preparing to launch a new attack in the next few months, stressing the need to urgently send more military support to Ukraine, especially modern tanks and missile systems to stop the Russian attack, stressing the need for Europe to listen to the voice of Ukraine. - It wants to be part of Europe and part of NATO, noting that "the next few months will be decisive to determine the outcome of the war."

In turn, the Canadian government said it would donate another 200 armored vehicles, which is part of an additional $500 million in military aid to Ukraine. In this regard, Canadian Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland revealed that providing Ukraine with weapons and money to win the war is in our own interest.

Describing how Ukraine's ability to function despite the war is improving over time, Yulia Svirenko said: "In 329 days of war so far, we have gained unique experience on how to keep the economy and basic services running," she said, adding that: No one doubts that Ukraine will win this war, but every day more deaths fall and we suffer more damage and losses, stressing that the assistance now will greatly accelerate the pace of Ukraine's victory.
