The symbols of the Egyptian community in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg meet the Minister of Immigration Affairs via the electronic Zoom application

A number of members of Egyptian communities in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg received an invitation to participate in a meeting with Soha Gendy, Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptians Abroad Affairs, via the electronic Zoom application. This is the first meeting of its kind between the Minister and members of Egyptian communities in the three countries, and this constitutes a major shift in policy. The ministry is towards Egyptians in the Benelux countries “Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg” because the organization of such meetings constitutes an important platform for linking the sons of Egyptians with the motherland, which was a source of complaint for Egyptians in the three countries because similar meetings were not organized over the past decades. The three countries said that he had never seen anyone who held this position, and no meetings were organized for them with the Egyptians in the three countries, whether by coming to the capitals of those countries or via the Internet, except for individual attempts by people from the three communities who themselves contacted the ministry in Cairo for various purposes.
The minister had previously stated that she was keen to listen to Egyptians abroad, and that is why she launched the "An Hour with the Minister" initiative, although the matter is not limited to an hour, and such meetings last for long hours.
The meeting scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, comes days after a similar meeting of the minister, which took place with members and symbols of the Egyptian community in Lebanon and the Sultanate of Oman, through the electronic “Zoom” application, to learn about the conditions and challenges facing the two communities, and to listen to their ideas and theses, to work to meet their various needs, and The meeting lasted for about 6 hours, and Ambassador Suha Gendy confirmed her keenness to meet all Egyptian communities in various countries of the world, to build bridges of sustainable communication with them, to get acquainted closely with the challenges facing them, as well as to benefit from their ideas and theses regarding the various files that the state is working on, and to benefit from Their great experience in national projects, as well as working to meet their various needs, stressing that this is among the priorities of the work of the Ministry of Immigration.
The Minister of Immigration was keen to review the ministry's efforts during the past four months, to introduce the members and symbols of the communities to the many incentives and benefits that have been achieved for Egyptians abroad at various levels, reflecting the firm desire of the Egyptian state represented by the Ministry of Immigration to provide all services to our citizens abroad.
