Algeria: A conference of Muslim women parliamentarians was held in preparation for the meeting of the councils of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation

The 10th Conference of Muslim Women Parliamentarians was held at the International Conference Center in Algiers, within the framework of the preparatory meetings for the 17th session of the Conference of the Union of Councils of Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
 
The agenda included opening a discussion on the issue of protecting Muslim women and children, especially in countries experiencing conflicts and tensions. Participants in the conference also touched on the issue of women's capabilities in solving local and regional problems and conflicts.
 
It is noteworthy that the State of Algeria opens the seventeenth session of the Conference of the Union of Councils of Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, under the auspices of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, today, Sunday, and it will last for two days.
 
The 17th session of the Conference of the Councils of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which is organized by the Algerian Parliament, is being held at the International Conference Center under the slogan “The Islamic World and the Challenges of Modernization and Development”, with the participation of the Egyptian Parliament and a large number of parliaments of the member states of this body.
