The European Neighborhood South project announced through a media release that within the framework of its editorial activities, the European Union Southern Neighborhood Program is launching a Media Presentation or Rapid Media Presentation activity, which is an open call for journalistic cooperation to produce stories about projects and initiatives funded by the European Union in the Southern Neighborhood region: Algeria and Egypt Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria and Tunisia.
Journalists and media representatives based in the region are invited to search for interesting stories related to projects and initiatives funded by the European Union on specific topics and to share their ideas. Interesting stories that meet the criteria will be captured and funded by the programme.

From January to June 2023, the EU Neighborhood Southern Program seeks to publish stories on the following topics:
Youth skills
Digital transformation, e-learning and games
Climate change, deforestation, water wastage and environmental topics
Agriculture and food security
Women empowerment and gender equality
How to participate?
Journalists and media representatives interested in presenting their stories are invited to review this collection of documents and to fill out this online form.
In the form, participants can indicate which topic/sector they are interested in and indicate in one or two paragraphs what angle they would like the story to be taken. .
After reviewing and approving the form, the EU Neighborhood Southern Program will approve the preparation of a complete story.

EU Neighbors South is the European Union's regional communication programme, designed to create awareness about the European Union in the Neighborhood South region of 10 countries and territories: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria and Tunisia.
The program seeks to contribute to improving public perception and attitudes towards the European Union and to establishing an appropriate climate for the acceptance of European values in the partner countries within the neighborhood region, through communication on the results and impact of the European Partnership in the Southern Neighborhood. The program complements and supports the outreach activities of the EU Delegations in neighboring countries and works closely with the European Commission's liaison teams.
