Brussels: Europe and the Arabs

9.5% of Belgium's population is materially and socially disadvantaged, with a population of 1,083,000. According to what was announced by the Belgian Statistics Office in a statement, of which we received a copy
It also states that in the Brussels-Capital region this represents about 17.5% of the population, in the French-speaking Walloon region about 14.4% and in the Dutch-speaking Flemish region about 5.4%.
This is evidenced by the first results of the Survey of Income and Living Conditions in 2022, supervised by the European Union-SILC.

According to the media statement of the Belgian Statistical Office, the survey or poll included more than 6,700 families on an important question regarding 13 expenses that they can or cannot afford, as well as about their social contacts.
  We call those who cannot afford five of these aspects materially and socially disadvantaged.
Those who cannot engage in seven of these aspects are severely disadvantaged materially and socially.
In 2022, 5.8% of the population will be in the latter condition.
It is noteworthy that the population of Belgium is slightly more than 11 million people, and large numbers of foreign communities live in it, especially Arabs and Muslims, specifically Morocco and Turkey.
