18 people were found dead in an abandoned truck near the Bulgarian capital Sofia, and according to the Bulgarian news agency BTA, they are migrants from Afghanistan.
Police found the truck in a village near Sofia, and more than fifty people were lying hidden under a bundle of wood.
Eighteen of them, including a child, died, possibly of asphyxiation. The survivors were more than thirty survivors. They were taken to the hospital.
BNT TV channel stated that the truck was on its way from the Turkish border to Serbia, and three people were arrested as part of the investigation in this file, according to what was published by Dutch media today, Saturday.
