Ukrainian President, Vladimir Zellinski, confirmed that ending the fighting in Ukraine is possible, if all the points of the "peace form" that he put forward were fulfilled.

Zelinski considered that it is unlikely to take negotiations between Moscow and Kiev and that Ukraine is taking concrete steps and offered its "peace form".

He added: "If this is implemented, we will reach a diplomatic confirmation of the end of this war."

  On the other hand, Times newspaper reported that Western and Ukrainian officials acknowledged that the Ukrainian forces may have to withdraw from the city of Artiumovsk (Bakhmeut), after they deliberately reduced the strategic value of the city.

The newspaper wrote: "Western and Ukrainian officials, teachers that the city's defenders may be subjected to a full Russian blockade and the complete supply interruption of them, recently admitted that the withdrawal may occur in parallel to reduce them from the city's strategic value."

The newspaper quoted a Ukrainian officer with the rank of captain: "departure here means losing the sites ... Russian forces will bring additional reinforcements and crawl on us."
