“According to the statistics of the Iranian Center for Human Rights, Khamenei’s criminal regime executed no less than 699 prisoners in the past Iranian year. In this way, 58 prisoners were hanged every month, and an average of 1 to 2 prisoners were executed per day. A day goes by when the cycle of killing stops." According to what was stated in a statement distributed by the Iranian opposition Mujahedin Khalq, of which we received a copy, it also said, "The largest number of executions was recorded in June, when the number of executions reached 129, and the lowest statistic was recorded in last April, when 7 executions were carried out.
Among the executed prisoners were 660 male and 18 female prisoners accused of social crimes such as murder or drugs, 5 child offenders, and 16 political prisoners, 2 of whom were publicly executed.
Among the executed political prisoners, the names of brave young men such as Mohsen Shekari, Majid Reza Rahnward, Mohammad Mehdi Karmi and Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini, who were executed for participating in demonstrations against the mullahs' regime, were recorded.
Among the executed prisoners were 153 dispossessed Baluchis and 41 from the Kurdistan region.
According to the statement of the Iranian opposition, the National Council of Resistance of Iran, it is clear that this statistic is only related to executions in prisons, and the statistics of the killing of hardworking Baloch fuel workers and Kurdish workers were not included in this report.
Khamenei's criminal regime also killed more than 750 people from the uprising in the streets across Iran.
Dozens of young men and children were killed for no reason as a result of the fire that the regime forces opened on the citizens. The statement concluded by saying, "The mullahs' regime uses execution as a means to instill fear and terror in society in order to prevent the widespread uprising of the Iranian people to overthrow the regime. With the installation of Ebrahim Raisi, the execution process in Iran has become more severe."
