Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty, Egypt's Ambassador to Belgium and the European Union, held an Iftar party on Saturday evening at his residence in Brussels, and it was attended by a number of symbols of the Egyptian community, led by Muslim and Christian religious leaders, businessmen, media and activists active in various fields, and everyone sat with the staff of the embassy and exchanged In a cordial conversation, he touched on many issues of interest to the Egyptian community.
The attendees praised the efforts made by the embassy and the consular section to serve the community, especially after a consular delegation from the embassy in Brussels went to Luxembourg and provided services to Egyptians residing there in order to save effort and time to travel to Brussels to obtain papers or various services. Ambassador Abdel Ati promised to repeat the experience at intervals to serve community members there
The ambassador spoke to the audience and said, "I hope that God will return these days with goodness to Egypt, protect it, and reconcile its leadership for the benefit of its great people." He added, "We are all witnessing the great and great achievements that Egypt is witnessing," noting that despite the Ukrainian crisis, the foundations of the economy are solid and strong and will surpass Egypt. This passing cloud will overcome those conditions just as it has overcome previous conditions.
It was clear from the breakfast table that the ambassador and his wife were keen that the table include Egyptian food, drinks and sweets that made everyone live the atmosphere of breakfast in the motherland of Egypt.
