Archpriest Musa Sorour, pastor of the Church of the Virgin Mary and Mary John in Antwerp, Belgium, hosted an Iftar banquet on Tuesday evening. Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty, Egyptian Ambassador to Belgium and Luxembourg, the European Union and NATO institutions, a number of embassy members and symbols of the Egyptian community of Christians and Muslims, including Sheikh Karam Al-Badawi, the imam and preacher of one of the greatest Mosques of Antwerp and prominent personalities in the world of business, media and other disciplines.
Everyone sat at the breakfast table in an atmosphere of love, coinciding with the glorious Feast of Resurrection. The ambassador expressed his happiness at participating in this kind gathering, which brings together the symbols of the community.

Regarding the situation of the community, Archpriest Moussa said that it is in a happy, committed and growing situation, and it has honorable models. He pointed out that there is a generation of young people from the second generation who graduated from universities and have good jobs, noting that the Egyptian community continues to communicate with the motherland on an ongoing basis and said, "To the extent that the church is in the summer vacation The number of attendees is small because approximately 70 percent are keen to travel to Egypt, which they love.
Ambassador Abdel-Aty had participated two days ago in the celebration of the Resurrection Day by the Coptic Church in Leuven, and conveyed to them a telegram of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi's congratulations to the Coptic community in Belgium and Luxembourg on the occasion of the Glorious Resurrection Day.
