Brussels-Paris: Europe and the Arabs
The International Committee for the Search for Justice announced in a statement signed by Dr. Algo Vidal Cuadras, President of the International Committee for the Search for Justice and Vice-President of the European Parliament (2009-2014) that 3,600 projects in 61 parliaments of 40 countries call for the classification of the Iranian Guard in the terrorist list, according to what was stated in the A statement distributed by the Iranian Resistance, and we received a copy of it today in Brussels
The following is the text of the statement:
The International Committee for the Search for Justice has received copies of the statements of more than 3,600 representatives from 40 European, North American, Australian and Arab countries in 61 legislative chambers supporting the Iranian people's uprising for a democratic republic. The ten-point program of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, head of the National Council of Resistance, expressed his desire to adopt a decisive policy against the Iranian regime, including designating the Revolutionary Guards as terrorists and holding the regime's leaders accountable. about crimes against humanity.
In addition to Resolution 100 of the US Congress, which was recorded with the support of 239 members of the House of Representatives, the signatories to this statement include the majority of representatives from 28 other legislatures. The majority of the members of the National Assembly of France, the Chamber of Deputies, the Italian Senate, the House of Commons, the Lords of England, the Parliaments of Norway, Malta, Iceland, North Macedonia, Moldova, the Senate of the Netherlands, and the Republic of Ireland are among them.
The lawmakers’ statement strongly deplored the killing of 750 protesters, the arrest of 30,000 people, and the wave of executions: “We stand in solidarity with the people of Iran and their demand for a secular and democratic republic in which no one is left behind. Religion or family relationship, has any privileges.. We stand against others. The Iranian people are united around these democratic values. They have made it clear by their slogans that they reject all forms of dictatorship, be it the deposed king or the present theocratic regime, and any connection with either of these two dictatorships.
"We believe that the decision of the people's future belongs to the Iranian people, but we stress the fact that during the past four decades, the Democratic Alliance of the National Council of Resistance of Iran has sought democratic change in Iran," the statement said. confirmed.
"We believe that the ten-point statement of Mrs. Rajavi, President of the National Council of Resistance, deserves our support," the statement added. This plan includes free elections, freedom of expression and assembly, the abolition of the death penalty, gender equality, separation of religion from the state, and the independence of Iranian and non-nuclear nationalities.
The statement adds: “The brave uprising of the Iranian people is caused on the one hand by the explosive situation of society due to oppression, poverty, discrimination and government corruption, and on the other hand it resulted from 4 decades of organized resistance at the national level. Tragically, in the summer of 1988 alone, more than 30,000 political prisoners—the vast majority of whom were members of the Mujahedin-e-Khalq—were brutally massacred.”
The statement also condemns "the regime's continued interference in the region as well as in Europe, including terrorist and cyber activities in Albania."
The positions of 3,600 legislators indicate a global consensus on the illegality of appeasement and coercion with the religious dictatorship ruling Iran and stress the need to support and resist the Iranian people. A necessary policy for democracy in Iran and for peace and security in the region and the world.
