The Moroccan Ambassador, Mohamed Amer, was at the head of those who attended the reception held by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Brussels, the capital of Belgium and the European Union. Many political, diplomatic, economic and media figures of different nationalities were keen to congratulate the Moroccan ambassador, members of the embassy and the Moroccan mission to the European Union on the occasion of the Throne Day. .
Ambassador Amer delivered a speech at the beginning of the ceremony, in which he dealt with the advanced relations between his country and the European Union in general, and with Belgium in particular, noting the great strides that Morocco has achieved under the leadership of King Mohammed VI in many files.
In statements to the "Europe and the Arabs" website, Toure Ahratan, who is the president of the Hope Association in Hoboken, affiliated to the city of Antwerp in the north of the country, said, "I came to the ceremony in order to preserve the customs and traditions that we grew up with, and this is a great honor for me to be present at this ceremony with the presence of Moroccan talents abroad." This indicates respect, pride and love for the homeland, and this is the Throne Day, i.e. the feast of allegiance with all the meanings of the word. She concluded while repeating the slogan “God is the homeland, the king.” On her part, Bushra Zai, who works in the banking sector, said, “This is a big day, where we are with the elite of Moroccans and other nationalities It is different to celebrate a day dear to us, which is the Throne Day, and we miss the festive atmosphere on this occasion in Morocco, and that is why we came here to celebrate these great celebrations.
Caesar Hijazin, head of the Arab-Belgian Chamber of Commerce in Brussels, said, "I listened to the speech of the Moroccan ambassador at the ceremony, which came hours after the speech of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, which focused on three main issues. The first is reconciliation with everyone, and secondly, the Palestinian issue, which comes in priorities." The Kingdom, including the Jerusalem file, and thirdly, the issue of economic and social development, which are matters that the ambassador referred to in his speech during the ceremony, especially that Morocco has distinguished relations and an advanced partnership with the European Union, and large investments by European countries in Morocco, in addition to the distinguished social relations between the two sides.
